About James Rinehart

Licenses in Wyoming | Colorado

James' passion lies in nurturing the vast lands of Wyoming, in hunting, improving wildlife habitat, and in land conservation. This passion created a natural path to his career in the ranch real estate brokerage business. For the past 32 years, James has developed his knowledge and skills in marketing rural farm, ranch, and recreational properties. As a farm and ranch broker, he has helped improve wildlife habitat and wide-open spaces through the sale of quality hunting and fishing properties utilizing conservation practices.  James has been involved in over 75,000 acres of conservation easement-related transactions for buyers and sellers, either through the sale of eased ranches, the placement of easements after the sale or lands being placed under permanent protection.

In addition to conservation practices, James takes pride in his ability to showcase the details of ranch properties better than most, and to facilitate the necessary due diligence ensuring those details are brought forward at an early stage in the transaction process for buyers and sellers.

James is the owner of Western United Realty in Laramie, Wyoming.  When the opportunity came to merge with Mason & Morse Ranch Company, James knew it was the right time and a great match.  The changing dynamics of the land brokerage business and James' commitment to provide his experience and effective marketing services for clients were key decision factors in selecting Mason & Morse Ranch Company as a partner.

In his own words…
“I cannot think of another thing I would rather do than be able to show people, usually from outside of Wyoming, the wonderful attributes our state has to offer.  Taking pride in knowing a lot of details about the property has gotten us accolades from sellers and buyers alike. That means a great deal when a seller commends us for our knowledge and what we have learned from them or other sources about the ranch.  When a buyer knows we can answer any question they may have, either on the spot or after a day, the satisfaction of a job well done means the world to me.  And the knowledge that as people around the state talk (Wyoming is still just a small town with long streets don’t forget), I will be commended for a job well done with the utmost in honesty and integrity.  A bad deal missed is better than a good deal done, I say.  It is still about knowledge and relationships, not so much the sales job some firms are trending toward today.”
